Municipal Planning Services
HKGi provides on-call, day-to-day planning services for several communities in the Twin Cities metropolitan region. These services include:

- Zoning ordinance administration, review, revisions

- Attend, produce report materials, and present at board, commission, and council meetings
- Grant writing

HKGi’s planning services provide clients with timely, effective, and efficient responses to day-to-day planning needs. Our services in this area are informed by our long-term experience as municipal planners for a variety of different communities (see Highlights sidebar to the right) as well as by our experience helping clients address long-term planning needs related to comprehensive planning, code updates, park and trail planning, and small area plans.
We emphasize a transparent process to ensure that property owners and developers receive a high level of customer service. We are diligent in working closely with staff to respond to inquiries and review applications in a timely fashion.
Regardless of which community we are serving, our ultimate objective is to be a trusted resource for the city and to use our creativity, experience, knowledge, and resourcefulness to help our clients find solutions to their community planning and development challenges.
