Hobbies and Pastimes

Patrick is an active cyclist and snowboarder who also enjoys exploring and photographing the streetscape and public art, both official and clandestine.  If he isn’t working, biking or snowboarding, he is also known to enjoy some hammock-time.

Patrick has contributed to park planning initiatives in Colorado, Minnesota and Iowa, and his project portfolio includes park and trail master plans, park improvements as well as athletic facility improvement designs for both municipal park systems and school districts.

Patrick brings strong creative problem-solving skills to his work, and he is an excellent communicator who enjoys engaging with staff and community members on exploring ideas for addressing community recreational and public health needs. His experience in parks and open space planning and design is informed by his commitment and desire to create great outdoor experiences for people from all walks of life to enjoy. He has a passion for learning about other communities and brings an infectious enthusiasm to his work.
