Lil Leatham is a registered landscape architect with expertise in parks, trails and bikeways, and open space planning and design. She has contributed to comprehensive park and trail plans in dozens of communities; from large, established park systems like Saint Paul to growing communities such as Dayton, MN. Lil’s work on regional park and greenway master plans in Dakota County and Bloomington have allowed her to successfully integrate her interest in natural resource based park planning. Lil has also worked with a number of communities to plan comprehensive bike-walk networks that encourage active living by connecting key destinations and incorporating enhanced design and support facilities that make walking and biking accessible and fun for all ages and abilities.

Also a GIS expert, Lil has successfully applied GIS analysis to park, trail and bikeway, natural resource and land use planning situations. Her GIS capabilities have contributed to the award-winning plans including the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Vision Plan, Basset Creek Valley Master Plan and the Mississippi River Greenway Strategic plan.

Lil’s responsibilities with HKGi include project management and facilitating public involvement.
