Hoisington Koegler Group has worked with the City of Champlin for many years with a variety of park and downtown planning efforts. The park planning process for Veterans Memorial Park included extensive participation by the citizens—specifically the local Champlin Veterans—and resulted in a plan that responds to specific program requirements of the community.
Included in the park design is the construction of a memorial walk and gardens, the placement of a gazebo at the edge of the Mill Pond, the development of a loop trail that links to other community trails, flags, signage, lighting, and related parking.
HKGi has been responsible for all of the planning efforts, development of the phasing plan, construction documents for each of the phases, and construction administration.
