The bicycle and transportation planners at Hoisington Koegler Group were asked to produce a study which aimed to solve the City's poor bicycle and pedestrian circulation near the office retail hub at the interchange of I-394 and Highway 100. St. Louis Park received a grant (one of only a few nationally) early in 2008 to produce a foreword thinking plan which gives the public full range of motion on foot or on bike. Pedestrians and cyclists alike have the right to have safe and reliable facilities available to get from point A to point B with out relying on vehicular transportation. HKGi's planners scoured the project site by auto, foot, and bike to find the best suited corridors for new trails, roads, development, and bridges. The study was recently completed with high regaurd to its quality and attention to detail.
